In late 2019, JUWELIS Management was approached by Erwin Dokter regarding an investment in VouGee GmbH based in Graz, Austria, concerning the development of a hardware portfolio of digital assets.

Project development/management is the core business of the JUWELIS Group, and the hardware portfolio offered at the time had unique properties. Thus, a financing and collaboration agreement for the development and production of the Hardware Wallet was signed with VouGee GmbH in February 2020, with delivery of the Hardware Wallet due to start in June 2020.

Erwin Dokter was invited to join the management as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JUWELIS Digital Systems AG to oversee the allocation of investments in VouGee GmbH on behalf of JUWELIS. Jan Bollmeyer, at the suggestion of Erwin Dokter and Peter Skerl (VouGee GmbH), has been engaged as exclusive wholesaler, distributor and retailer of the aforementioned Hardware Wallet, and given the title of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at JUWELIS Digital Systems AG.

Despite the contractual delivery deadline of June 2020, VouGee GmbH has still not met its contractual obligations. Due to the persistent delays, the JUWELIS management team suspended all further payments at the end of December 2020, in order to carry out a financial audit of VouGee GmbH to ensure the proper allocation of capital and the assessment of a reliable delivery time for the hardware portfolio.

Irrespective of numerous advances, JUWELIS was denied access to the required documentation that would have been necessary to carry out the audit and due diligence. Unexpectedly, VouGee GmbH terminated all existing contracts with immediate effect and without notice, in February 2021; followed by the resignation of Erwin Dokter and Jan Bollmeyer's collaboration in March 2021. The same people rebranded the Hardware Wallet as ZENIQ in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with SAFIR International.

Furthermore, the founding of Juwelis GmbH by Erwin Dokter in Austria was carried out without authorization or approval by JUWELIS management. The same applies to the unauthorized registration of the JUWELIS trademark in the EU by Erwin Dokter.

JUWELIS firmly withdraws from all VouGee GmbH and SAFIR activities, including their ZENIQ subsidiaries. Legal proceedings are in progress.
